TRX Sports Medicine this course takes your TRX Suspension Training education to the next level. Building on what you learned from your Level 1 course, you will deep dive into foundational movements and learn techniques to make them appropriate for different client scenarios.
Foam Rolling: Principles & Practices Self-myofascial release (SMR) has been shown to relieve muscle and joint pains and improve flexibility and range of motion. This 4-hour workshop teaches the fundamentals of myofascia, reviews the latest SMR research and then dives into the Trigger Point Performance SMR movement philosophy using the GRID foam roller. Participants walk away with practical knowledge and hands-on experience coaching and cueing movements that can be scaled to all-levels of general health and athletic clients for pre- and post-workout foam rolling.
Myofacsial Compression Techniques take your knowledge beyond foam rolling! This Level 2 course utilizes the Trigger Point Performance line of products designed to increase mobility and improve performance with an overall improvement on one’s biomechanics. This 8-hour training is hands-on, focusing on the practical application of Trigger Point Performance education backed by scientific research. You will leave this course with an in-depth knowledge of how to use and how to teach MCT in order to increase the performance and training results that your clients get in your sessions.
Power Plate® Fundamentals has been developed to allow personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, therapists, and medical practitioners to understand the science and application of Acceleration Training™. This eight hour CEU approved program covers the bio-mechanics and neuro-physiology of Whole Body Vibration, benefits of Acceleration Training™, and an introduction to Power Plate’s five fitness elements. This certification course is ideal for individuals seeking to gain a better understanding of the principles of acceleration and more importantly the correct methodology of acceleration training for individual or small group training.
Loaded Movement Training combines task-oriented movement patterning with resistance training. Agility and strength come from moving the body in a multitude of purposeful tasks with load, just like back on the farm.
ViPR PT Certification – Movement is essential to training healthy bodies. The more we move in dynamic ways using our full body in training programs the better we feel. Adding weight (load) to movement gives the body a double benefit – we learn to move better, and become stronger and fitter at the same time. When engaging in Loaded Movement Training, every time you move, you are integrating the entire structure and the entire body in every movement you do. Every exercise becomes a core exercise, every exercise becomes a strength exercise, and every exercise becomes an agility exercise, to take into account the movement and energy demands of life and sport. By studying the body and its adaptations, we know that Loaded Movement Training effectively challenges and conditions muscle, fascia, nerves, skin and other systems of the body. Science shows that moving with load improves balance, agility and dynamic strength, to reach goals such as weight management, improved functionality in all aspects of life, and enhanced performance in every level of sport.
The ViPR Group Fitness (VGF) programs have been developed by a team of highly skilled industry leaders who not only have a sound knowledge of ViPR scientific principles, but a practical understanding of instructor needs. The programs have been created and structured in such a way that instructors can choose whether they use them in their entirety or create their own exercises. They have the freedom to choose what is best for them and their class. With society increasingly time-poor and an ever-increasing market for quick but effective workouts, VGF programs utilize a 30-minute class construct for both physiological and psychological reasons. Both ViPR 3D and ViPR Athletic were formatted to take full advantage of whole-body integrated training while also creating an environment for group fitness instructors to easily lead a ViPR class and make any necessary modifications for their group. ViPR 3D is a traditional music-based fitness class and ViPR Athletic is for more athletic populations and provides a unique atmosphere in the class.
