Beyond Mat Science™ is a fusion-based format involving a true balance between standing and floor exercises in a variety of positions. It incorporates the use of both Yoga and Pilates breathing techniques, while allowing instructors to be creative with the original exercises.
Beyond Mat Science™ offers sequencing of exercises in progressive series combining Yoga, Pilates, and fusion-style exercises in smooth, flowing patterns suitable for all fitness levels. Beyond Mat Science™ allows an instructor to incorporate the three main fitness components: cardio-respiratory, strength, and flexibility training, into their fusion classes.
