You will develop your understanding of common conditions and injuries as well as the risks of being sedentary. We will revisit risk stratification and explore why this is important for older adults. Falls prevention is an important component of programming for older clients and you will learn the physical benefits of falls prevention programs. Lastly you will examine common barriers to exercise for older adults and what you can do to help your clients overcome them.
